Jai Ho - The Story (HQ) - Slumdog Millionaire 2008/9 -- Stars Left In the COLD

Slumdog Millionaire had raked in millions and millions of dollars the same as what Jamal Malik supposedly won in the movie and even more. It was a great movie and indeed very highly recommended. What is unfortunate though is to see kids like Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail and others being kicked out of their homes after being a star in such a great movie. He and his family have now no place to live as authorities kicked them out of their home. I hope that these kids will also be given due justice like the message of the movie tells everyone.

Slumdog Millionaire is an adaptation of the novel Q & A by Indian author and diplomat Vikas Swarup. It was adopted for film starring Dev Patel and Freida Pinto and directed by Danny Boyle. Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail played the youngest version of Jamal Malik's brother Salim.

Although the movie had some great variation from its novel counterpart including the part of Latika and Jamal's reason for joining Who Wants to be A Millionaire it still became a great hit. It is probably the first ever Bollywood film which amass 8 Academy Awards, 7 BAFTA Awards and 4 Golden Globe Awards.

Personally, well I guess my rating will not be a surprise to everyone.

Want to know how much Slumdog Millionaire earned as of this writing? I was told it is about over $343.5 million worldwide. Hmmm... seems greater... far far greater than what Jamal Malik won and too much for a good home for the kids. Isn't it?.
