High level and eye astonishing preview trailers. That is how Sucker Punch lure movie goers into watching the movie. The movie is pretty impressive when it comes to effects and the beauty of the ladies in the movie. However, this movie falls way way short beyond expectations.

It was one of the movies which generally made me fell asleep. I do not know if it was just me or did any of you also experience this. The storyline and plot was very bland and lacks appeal. An imaginary world which comes into play every time the main character dances or attempts to complete the things she needed to escape seems to be to match of an attempt. It was plain boring and lacks genuine engagement.

Actually the first time I watch it, there is some sort of confusion as to what is really happening then after quite a few minutes you will realize that this is all about hallucination and dreaming of your future and taking actions.

The movie tries to visualize imaginations and thoughts into action combat. However, the plot is not deep and the storyline is very loose. I am frustrated at how it was really done... the trailers had hidden the true thing behind the movie, Sucker Punch.

Here are my ratings for Sucker Punch.
  • STORY:  3
  • CHARACTERS:  3
  • COHERENCE:  3
  • DEPTH:  2
  • MUSIC:  7
  • VISUAL EFFECTS: 10
  • POPULARITY:  6
  • RECOMMENDATION: 2
  • TOTAL RATING:  45.00%
